Axenics moves to Tyngsboro, Massachusetts
Axenics’ metals and plastics facilities are now under one roof, conveniently located off Route 3 in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts. Find us at 200 Business Park Drive, Tyngsboro, MA, 01879. Our phone number remains the same, 603-595-9939.
The continued growth of both the metals and plastics divisions necessitated a move to a larger, centralized location, to better serve our existing and new customers.
The new location is 25,000 square feet and provides ample space to expand our production capabilities. We designed the space to align with our lean manufacturing approach. The ample production floor will be a huge benefit to our customers, providing us room to expand into larger projects.
Cross-training of the team continues, which means when we need some extra hands on the plastics side, we can borrow team members from metals and vice versa. This is especially timely as the demand for components and services for the semiconductor industry grows.
Semiconductor boom
The Senate-passed U.S. Innovation and Competition Act aims to deliver $52 billion to American semiconductor R&D and manufacturing. It’s a great time to be a gear in the semiconductor manufacturing machine. The move to Tyngsboro did not interrupt our pace, as we operate at full speed, keeping up with the demand for the components and delivery systems that go into semiconductor production systems. In fact, we’re on track for our most-successful year to date.
Axenics got its start within the semiconductor industry and it’s exciting witnessing the life-saving technologies that come from its expansion.
Our semiconductor manufacturing services include:
- Gas cabinets: Our building process ensures defect-free gas manifold and gas cabinet solutions. Safety features are also a top priority in our gas cabinet and gas panel construction.
- Welding solutions: We produce clean welds to stop contaminants from getting into your semiconductor manufacturing tube or pipe systems. Our TIG welders produce welds with miniscule tolerances that are also free of discontinuities and defects.
- Bending solutions: We bend tubes to your exact specifications for simple and complex subsystems and assemblies. This ensures potentially dangerous chemicals, gases and liquids move through your systems efficiently, effectively and safely.
We also anticipate continued growth for alternative energy projects, as we’re doing more work on hydrogen fuel cell components these days. We anticipate that work growing in the coming months, and it will be helpful to have the entire team in one space.
